Okay, so, I saw this thing online about making a giant 5 lb Snickers bar and I just had to try it. I mean, who wouldn’t want a massive Snickers, right? I’m not a professional baker or anything, just a regular guy who loves chocolate and wanted to share my fun experience.
Gathering the Ingredients
First, I gathered all the stuff I needed. Let me tell you, it was a lot! I basically bought out the candy aisle at the store. Here’s what I ended up with:

- A ton of milk chocolate.
- A bunch of caramel. I got the squares, not the sauce.
- Peanuts. Lots and lots of peanuts.

Making the Layers

I melted down the chocolate first. That was easy. I just used a double boiler. Then, I poured some into the mold for the bottom layer and stuck it in the fridge to harden.
While that was chilling, I got to work on the caramel. I unwrapped all those little squares and melted them in a pot. Then, I mixed in a handful of peanuts. I poured that over the chocolate layer and put it back in the fridge.
The nougat was next. I followed some recipe I found online. It involved egg whites and sugar and a candy thermometer. It was a bit of a pain, but it worked out. I spread that over the caramel layer and, you guessed it, back in the fridge it went.
Finally, I melted more chocolate and poured it over the nougat to create the top layer. Then came the hardest part: waiting. I had to let it set in the fridge for a few hours.
The Final Result
After what felt like forever, it was finally ready. I carefully took it out of the mold, and there it was: a giant 5 lb Snickers bar. It looked amazing! And it tasted even better. It was seriously one of the best things I’ve ever made. And probably not good for my body. I heard rumors that if you eat 100 you could get 100,000 dollars. Not sure if I could do that though. My body would be so messed up after all that sugar and chocolate.
