Well, lemme tell ya about these Belgian biscuits. I heard folks talkin’ ’bout them, sayin’ they’re somethin’ special. Ain’t never had ’em myself, but I heard they’re mighty fine. You know, I used to bake biscuits all the time, back in the day. But these Belgian ones, they sound fancy.
They say you can get ’em delivered right to your door. Imagine that! Back when I was young, we had to make everythin’ ourselves. No such thing as gettin’ store-bought biscuits, least not where I come from. These Belgian biscuits, they got all sorts of flavors, I reckon. Probably some with chocolate and some without, chocolate is good.

I seen a picture of ’em once. They looked kinda like them cookies with the jam in the middle. But these Belgian biscuits, they got a fancy name, so they must be somethin’ else. They said these biscuits are famous, rich flavor. My grandson, he loves cookies, you know. Maybe I’ll get him some of these Belgian biscuits one day. He’d probably gobble ’em all up in one sittin’!
- Belgian biscuits, they say, are made in Belgium.
- They sound like a real treat.
- Maybe they’re good with coffee or tea.
- I’ll have to try them sometime.
Heard someone sayin’ these biscuits are crunchy, got a good snap to ’em. That’s how I like my biscuits, nice and crispy. Not too soft, ya know? Gotta have that crunch. They said it is sweet, cinnamon. I don’t like cinnamon much, but lots of folks do. One of my neighbor, she bakes these cinnamon rolls, the whole house smells like cinnamon.
These Belgian biscuits, they come in all shapes and sizes, I bet. Some probably big, some probably small. Maybe some round, some square. They can make lots of different shapes. I saw some heart-shaped cookies once, but they weren’t Belgian biscuits, they were just regular sugar cookies.
Folks say these Belgian biscuits are a real delicacy. That means they’re somethin’ special, somethin’ you don’t eat every day. Like a special occasion treat. Maybe for a birthday or a holiday. They said they are expensive, but very delicious. Maybe I will buy some for Christmas.
I remember my grandma, she used to make the best biscuits. Used real butter and buttermilk. Made ’em from scratch, every time. These Belgian biscuits, they probably use fancy ingredients, too. Things I ain’t never even heard of. But they also said you can buy some from freezers at stores, so maybe it’s easy to get.
They got these Belgian biscuits all over the world, I hear. Even in Canada! That’s far away. I ain’t never been to Canada. But it’s nice to know they got good biscuits there. Maybe one day I’ll travel there and try ’em. They are also popular in North East of England. I like traveling, but it’s too tiring now.

These Belgian biscuits, they got a long history, I reckon. Probably been around for a long time. They said Speculoos is the most famous one. I don’t know what that means. People makin’ ’em the same way for years and years. That’s how you know they’re good. They have an ancestral recipe, well, that sounds very traditional, very old-fashioned.
You can get them delivered now. Order online, some say one hour delivery, so fast! Well, I don’t know about these things, but the young folks do. My granddaughter, she’s always on that computer, orderin’ things. Maybe I should ask her to get me some of these Belgian biscuits.

- One hour delivery.
- Ask younger generation for help.
There is also Empire biscuit, also called Imperial biscuit, German biscuit and Belgian biscuit, how confusing! They say it is from Scotland, maybe also popular in Northern Ireland. Well, I don’t know much about these, I just want some simple, good biscuits. Also, there is a version called Belgian Slice, which is from New Zealand. So many names, they make my head spin.
Well, I’m gettin’ hungry just thinkin’ about these Belgian biscuits. Maybe I’ll try to find some today. See if they live up to all the hype. If they’re as good as folks say, I might just have to get me some more. And maybe I’ll share ’em with my neighbor. She’s a good woman, always bringin’ me over some of her baked goods. It’s only right I return the favor. These Belgian biscuits might just be the perfect thing. And the delivery is free they say, how good is that!
