Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Silhouette Cameo 3 for a while now. I mean, I’ve heard so many good things about it, and I really wanted to see what the hype was all about. It’s supposed to be this amazing cutting machine that can do all sorts of cool stuff, and I was curious if it was really worth the money.
First, I started by checking out a few different stores online to see what the prices were like. And I noticed that the Cameo 3 seemed to be priced around 300 bucks. I guess the price depends on where you get it from and if it comes with extra accessories or stuff.

Then I dug a little deeper and found out that the Cameo 3 isn’t even being made anymore! That’s kind of a bummer. But, good news is, you can still get your hands on blades and other things that work with it, because they’re compatible with other models. That made me feel a little better. But still, that price tag was a bit steep for an older model. I thought about checking out the newer Cameo 4, but it was even more expensive, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend that much just yet.
I learned that the Cameo 4 can cut thicker materials than the Cameo 3, like 3mm instead of 2mm. This sounds great, but the Cameo 3 still seemed like it could do most of the things I wanted to try out.
My Decision
- I decided to keep an eye out for any deals or discounts on the Cameo 3.
- Maybe I could find a used one in good condition for a lower price.
- Or maybe a store would have a sale or something.
I’m not giving up on getting a Cameo 3. I think it could be a lot of fun to play around with, and I’m excited to see what I can create with it. I just need to find the right price first. Wish me luck!
