You won’t believe the adventure I had this week! It all started when I got curious about car crushers. Yeah, those big machines that flatten cars like pancakes. I’ve always been fascinated by them, and I figured, why not see if I could find one for sale? So, I started digging around online.
First, I searched for “used car crushers for sale” and was immediately overwhelmed. There were so many options! I saw names like Overbuilt, Aljon, and E-Z Crusher. Some were portable, others were stationary, and the prices? Let’s just say they ranged from “hmm, maybe” to “whoa, that’s a lot of money!” Prices were like $12,500 all the way up to over $500.

I spent hours looking at different models. I learned that the Overbuilt Model 10 seems to be pretty popular, and some of them are even 22 feet long! I found some older ones, too, like a 1981 E-Z Crusher, for a lot cheaper, around $150, and in a fixed price.
- Looked at the Overbuilt 10HS and 10 HS PORTABLE models.
- Checked out some listings on auction sites – I saw everything from mobile crushers to ones designed for scrap yards.
I noticed that a lot of these machines are used in scrap yards and recycling centers, which makes sense. After all, that’s where a lot of old cars end up.
One thing that struck me was the sheer power of these machines. I watched a few videos of them in action, and it’s incredible how easily they crush cars.
I even stumbled upon some information about a game where you can earn a “Master Crusher” title by being on leaderboards for a month. It sounded cool, but it seems like they removed it. Maybe they’re getting ready to work with car companies like Lamborghini and Stelantis, that owns brands like Dodge and Chrysler. There was also something about a VIP pass in the game that lets you unlock special cars, but you need to earn a certain amount of money first.
I haven’t bought a car crusher yet. But let me tell you, the search itself was an eye-opener. It’s a whole different world out there with heavy machinery like this.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure into the world of car crushers. It was a wild ride, and I learned a ton. Who knew there was so much to know about these metal-munching monsters?

What I Learned:
- There are a lot of different car crusher brands and models out there.
- They’re not cheap, but you can find deals on used ones.
- Car crushers are mostly used in scrap yards.
I felt like I had truly accomplished something, even though I ended up not getting one, at least not yet!
