Okay, so let me tell you about this little adventure I had the other day. I was craving some pizza, like, really craving it. And not just any pizza, I wanted to find the best pizza in El Cerrito. So, I started my mission.
First, I opened my phone and started browsing. I checked out a few delivery apps, like the one with the guy on the bike and the one with the green logo. You know, the usual suspects. They had a bunch of options, some national chains, some local places I’d never heard of. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest.

Then, I decided to narrow it down a bit. I looked at reviews, checked out some menus online. I wanted something with good ingredients, you know? Not that frozen stuff. This one place, Mountain Mike’s, kept popping up. Apparently, they have some famous pepperoni. Interesting.
My Pizza Exploration Included
- Checking out all the big delivery apps.
- Reading tons of reviews from other pizza lovers.
- Looking at pictures of pizzas to see what looked tasty.
- Finding out which places use fresh ingredients.
I also stumbled upon this app called Slice. It connects you to local pizzerias, which is pretty cool. They had a few places listed in El Cerrito, like Super Slice Pizza and Richmond Pizza House. I made a mental note of those.
And of course, I checked Yelp. That’s where I found a few more options, like Papi’s Pizza Roma and Pie On The Fly. They had pretty good reviews, so I added them to my list.
After all that research, I finally made my decision. I ordered from a place that had great reviews, a good-looking menu, and seemed to care about the quality of their ingredients. And let me tell you, it was worth it. The pizza was delicious! It had that perfect crust, you know, not too thick, not too thin. And the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Mission accomplished! I successfully found a great pizza in El Cerrito.
It was a bit of a journey, but hey, that’s what makes it fun, right? Exploring all the options, reading reviews, and finally finding that perfect slice. That’s what it’s all about. I totally satisfied my pizza craving!
Oh, and some of the places have Wi-Fi, serve alcohol and are good for kids, according to Tripadvisor, I guess. Not that I needed it, but good to know, right?

Anyway, that’s my pizza story. I just wanted to share my experience, you know, in case you’re ever in El Cerrito and looking for some good pizza. You’re welcome!
