So, I got this Lamzu Atlantis mouse, and I was messing around with the app. First, I went to the official website to download the app. But I found that it was a little bit complicated for me.
I was trying to update the firmware. I plugged in the mouse with the USB-C cable and unplugged the USB receiver, just like what I read online. But here’s the funny part – the “start” button in the firmware update section was all grayed out. I was like, “What the heck?” I mean, I followed the steps, but it just wouldn’t work. I even tried to update the firmware, but I did it twice by accident, and I didn’t know if it caused any problems.

And get this, I heard that some folks were able to “crack” the app or something? Like, they could remove some copy protection from the software or unlock features from a demo or trial version. That’s wild! I didn’t even know that was a thing. I just wanted to customize my mouse settings.
Sleep Mode
There are two kinds of firmware. One is the default, and another is for power saving. The default firmware will enter sleep mode after the 20s. If you are a pro gamer, the other firmware is more suitable. I’m not sure which one is better for me.
But yeah, this Lamzu Atlantis Mini, it’s a smaller version of the regular one. I saw some pictures online, and people were comparing it to other mice, showing off their grips and stuff. It’s cool to see how everyone uses it differently.
This thing is supposed to be super lightweight, only 51g. I guess that’s good for reducing wrist strain. It’s got a symmetrical design, which is probably a good thing.
Anyway, I’m still trying to figure this whole app thing out. It’s supposed to let you unlock the full potential of the mouse, but I’m still scratching my head over here. Maybe I’ll get the hang of it eventually.
In the end, I finally updated the firmware successfully. I just don’t know why it didn’t work at first. But finally, it worked.
