Upgrade Your Setup with the Best 65 Percent Keyboards Available

Posted on 24/01/202524/01/2025 by NewsExplorer

Alright, so I’ve been messing around with keyboards lately, you know, trying to find that perfect one. I wanted to share my experience trying to get the best 65 percent keyboard. And man, it’s been a journey, let me tell you!

First off, I started looking around online, just to see what’s out there. I figured, why not start with something that people seem to like? That’s when I stumbled upon the Drop ALT Mechanical Keyboard.

  • I saw some people saying it’s great for both gaming and programming, which is right up my alley.
  • It said the price is around $180. I can pay for it.
  • So, I decided to give it a shot. Ordered one online, waited a few days, and boom, it arrived.

Unboxing it was pretty exciting. It looked sleek, felt solid, and the keys had that satisfying click-clack sound. I plugged it in, started typing away, and it felt pretty good. But here’s the thing, after using it for a while, I realized it wasn’t quite the perfect fit for me. It’s a solid keyboard, don’t get me wrong, but it just didn’t feel like “the one”, you know?

So, back to the drawing board. I did some more digging, and a name that kept popping up was the ASUS ROG Falchion.

  • It has 68 keys, which seemed like a good number.
  • It’s pretty light, only about half a kilogram, which is cool if you’re carrying it around.
  • The size is also just right, not too big, not too small. I like it!

I decided to take the plunge and ordered one. When it arrived, I immediately noticed how compact it was. It’s definitely smaller than the Drop ALT, which I liked. I started using it for work, gaming, everything, and you know what? This one felt much better. The keys felt nicer to type on, the size was perfect for my desk setup, and it just felt more “me”.

My Choice

After trying out a couple of these 65% keyboards, I think I’ve finally found my match with the ASUS ROG Falchion. It’s compact, feels great to type on, and it’s just a solid keyboard overall. So yeah, if you’re in the market for a 65% keyboard, I definitely recommend checking out the ASUS ROG Falchion. You might just fall in love with it like I did!
