Okay, so I’ve been wanting to learn some Portuguese, and I stumbled upon this super catchy song called “O Pato.” I figured, what better way to pick up some vocabulary than by learning the lyrics to a fun song? But, of course, I needed the English translation first. So that’s how my little “O Pato” English lyrics project started.
Digging for the Lyrics
First things first, I needed to find the original Portuguese lyrics. I just searched for “O Pato lyrics” and boom, tons of sites popped up. I just pick a random website, and copy the lyrics from there.
The Translation
I tried some other websites,but also did not find a direct English translation.I was still determined to translate it on my own.
I decided I use an online translate * seemed like the easiest way to go.
- Opened the traslate tool website.
- Pasted the Portuguese lyrics into the input box.
- Selected “Portuguese” as the source language and “English” as the target language.
- Hit the “Translate” button.
After the translation,I got the english lyrics,but the song’s original charm might have been lost in the translation process.
Sing and Learn
I try to read the english lyrics and listen to the *’s diffcult for me,but after many times,I almost can sing this song.
So, that’s the story of my little adventure with “O Pato.” It wasn’t some grand, complicated project, but it was a fun way to spend an afternoon and learn something new. And hey, now I can kinda sing along to a Brazilian classic!
