Okay, so I decided to make a mouse size chart. You know, just for fun, to see how different computer mice stack up against each other.
Getting Started
First, I gathered all the mice I could find around the house. We’ve got a bunch – my gaming mouse, my wife’s ergonomic one, a couple of old ones from the junk drawer… you get the picture. It was like a little mouse family reunion!

The Measuring Process
Next, I grabbed a ruler and a piece of paper. I figured I’d measure the length, width, and height of each mouse. I also jotted down the brand and model, just to keep things organized.
It is so funny! I measured each mouse. I carefully lined up the ruler and noted down the dimensions in centimeters. I felt like a scientist, but instead of studying dinosaur bones, I was measuring computer mice.
Creating the Chart
After I had all the measurements, It is time to actually make the chart. I just opened up a spreadsheet program. Nothing fancy, just something to put the data in.
- I created columns for the brand, model, length, width, and height.
- Then, I started typing in all the information I had collected.
- Row by row, I filled in the chart.
Review and finish
Finally, after some organization work, I got a clear chart. I could now easily compare the sizes of all the mice. Mission accomplished! It was surprisingly satisfying to see all the data laid out like that.
So yeah, that’s how I made my mouse size chart. It was a simple little project, but it was fun. Maybe it’ll even help me choose a new mouse someday!
