Okay, so I saw this super cute collab between Kate Spade and Starbucks, all themed around strawberries. I just had to try and get my hands on some of it!
The Hunt Begins
First, I checked the Starbucks app. Nothing. Then I went to the Starbucks website – still nothing. I started to get a little worried, was this a super-secret, in-store only kind of deal?
I decided to hit up a few local Starbucks. The first one, nothing. The barista looked at me like I was speaking another language. Strike one.
At the second store, I asked, and the barista said, “Oh yeah, we had those, but they sold out really fast.” My heart sank a little. But at least I knew I wasn’t crazy!
Third Time’s the Charm?
I was about to give up, but I decided to try one more Starbucks, a little further out. I walked in, trying to look casual, and…BAM! There it was! A small display with the Kate Spade x Starbucks strawberry collection.
- The travel mug: Adorable, with pink and red strawberries all over it.
- A cute little pouch: Perfect for, I don’t know, maybe carrying extra straws?
- A tote bag: Strawberry, Of course.
Success!
I grabbed the travel mug. I mean, I needed a new one, right? And the strawberry design was just too perfect. The line was long, but you bet I patiently waiting my turn.
Finally, I got to the front, paid for my precious mug. Victory! It wasn’t easy, but that made it even more satisfying. My brand new mug, with the fresh strawberry smell. It is worth!
