Alright, so I’ve been grinding on Madden 23 lately, and one thing I really wanted to check out was Chase Claypool’s rating. You know, see how the game developers think he stacks up.
Firing Up the Game
First things first, I booted up my console and loaded Madden 23. Gotta love that loading screen music, gets you hyped, right?

Navigating to the Rosters
Once I was in the main menu, I went straight to the roster section. Usually, I just jump into a quick game, but this time, I was on a mission. I scrolled through the options until I found the roster management area.
Finding the Bears (or Steelers)
Now, this was a bit tricky at first, because I had to remember, “Is Claypool still showing with the Steelers, or is he updated with the Bears?”. I checked the Bears’ roster first, I go check that, and there he was!
Checking Out the Stats
- I selected Claypool from the roster list.
- His player profile popped up, showing all his attributes.
- I scanned through speed, catching, agility, all that good stuff.
The Overall Rating Reveal
And there it was, his overall rating. Now, I’m not gonna lie, it had different, depending on whether you’re looking at launch ratings or updated ones. But, you know, that’s how it goes with these games – players’ performances change, and the ratings get adjusted.
My Thoughts
Honestly, the rating seemed… well, it is what it is. I’ve seen him make some crazy catches in real life, so I always have my own opinion, you know? But it’s cool to see how the game rates him, gives you something to debate with your buddies.
Anyway, that was my little adventure diving into Chase Claypool’s Madden 23 rating. Time to go actually play some games now!
