Where This Whole Mess Started
So, a couple weeks back, I’m chilling, talking online with some newbies in the anime groups. Couple folks piped up, real shy, like, asking how to even find that specific kinda anime show, you know? The type that has… well, extra skin showing. Actual nudity scenes. They were confused as heck.
Regular sites like Crunchyroll or Hidive weren’t exactly putting “nudity” tags upfront. Seemed awkward. So yeah, I thought, “Alright, time to figure this out properly. Document this mess.”

First Try: Dumb Google Searches
Obviously, step one was sitting down at my dusty laptop and just typing junk into Google. Stuff like:
- “anime with real sex scenes”
- “hentai but just the plot parts”
- “uncensored ecchi shows”
Total waste of time. Got flooded with porn pop-up sites, sketchy malware links, and stupid top 10 lists full of just regular ecchi stuff or softcore junk. Nothing useful for someone who just wants a straight answer on which full series have actual uncensored nudity mixed into the story. Felt like digging through digital garbage.
Hitting Up Forums (Bracing Myself)
Figured I had to get into the trenches. Logged into some big anime forums – you know the ones, kinda weird energy in those dark corners. Tried reading threads asking similar stuff. Most answers were useless:
- “Just watch hentai lol” – Not helpful, dude.
- “Try ‘My Dress-Up Darling’” – Has fan service, sure, but zero actual nude scenes. Get outta here.
- “Google it” – Wow, brilliant.
Felt like pulling teeth. Finally spotted an older, buried thread where people actually listed some real names. Saw folks mention stuff like “Queen’s Blade,” “Highschool DxD Uncensored,” even some less popular fantasy OVAs. Names started popping up. Took screenshots like crazy.
The Database Search Hassle
Alright, got some names. Now, how to verify this without watching every episode? Tried checking mainstream anime databases. Big sites like MyAnimeList or AniDB? Yeah, they’re super cagey about this stuff. Rarely mention “uncensored” or “nudity” clearly in the genre tags. Some entries might list “ecchi” or “adult,” but that’s vague as heck. Ecchi could just mean boob jiggles.
Had to cross-reference like crazy:

- Look up the show name.
- Add “uncensored version” specifically to the search.
- Dig into obscure user reviews mentioning it.
- Check unofficial wikis that sometimes state it bluntly.
Painstaking work. Took me most of an afternoon.
Finally Getting Somewhere
After hours of this slog, patterns started forming. Figured out that “AT-X broadcast” was often code for the less censored version in Japan. Certain studios (looking at you, Arms) leaned harder into it. Learned to ignore pointless “fan service” tags and look for specific keywords dropped in reviews or forums: “uncensored,” “mosaic removed,” “OVA version,” stuff like that. Made a personal list with confirmed entries.
Feels kinda dumb explaining all this detective work just to find shows where characters get naked, but hey, that’s what the new folks needed to know. The internet doesn’t make it easy unless you know the exact, weird phrases to search for. Weirdly satisfying once I cracked it, though.
