Okay, so I’ve been messing around with these Anbernic handhelds for a while now, and honestly, it’s a bit of a rabbit hole. There are so many models, it’s hard to keep track! I finally decided I needed to get organized, so I started putting together a comparison chart. Figured I’d share my process, ’cause it might help someone else out.
Getting Started: The Spreadsheet
First thing I did was fire up a good old spreadsheet. Nothing fancy, just something to keep all the info straight. I knew I wanted to compare things like:

- Model Name (obviously!)
- Screen Size
- Processor
- RAM
- Battery Life (this one’s always a pain to get accurate info on)
- Price (which fluctuates like crazy)
- Operating System
- Preloaded games? (if they came with any).
I started by listing out all the Anbernic models I could think of, off the top of my head. Then I started digging around for the specs. This is where things got a little tedious.
The Research Grind
Honestly, the hardest part was just finding reliable information. I spent hours browsing, forum, and every random website I could find. It was a total mess of conflicting specs and user opinions.
I quickly realized that I needed to be a bit of a detective. If one site said the battery life was 4 hours, and another said 6, I’d try to find a third source, or maybe a user review to see if I could get a better sense of the real battery life. Same thing with the processor and RAM – sometimes the listings were just plain wrong.
I started adding notes to my spreadsheet, like “check this again” or “seems fishy” next to any data I was unsure about.
Filling in the Gaps
After a few days of on-and-off research, I had a pretty decent chart going. There were still some gaps, especially for some of the older, less popular models. For those, I had to rely more on forum posts and user reviews. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than nothing.
The Finished (for now) Product
My chart is definitely a work in progress. I keep updating it as I learn more, or as new models come out. But it’s already been super helpful for me, just to get a quick overview of the different Anbernic devices and see how they stack up against each other.

I thought I made a pretty good chart for personal use. Maybe some people would find a real chart more helpful, but this helped me a lot for comparison.
