Okay, so I’ve been on this quest to find the perfect vitamin D serum for my face. You know, something that’ll give me that healthy glow without making me look like a greasy mess. I’ve tried a few, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey!
First, I started with some research. I spent an embarrassing amount of time looking at websites reviews. Finally, I picked a few that seemed promising, based mostly on what other people were saying – you know, the usual online reviews and ratings.

My Experimentation Phase
- Serum #1: This one was super watery. I felt like I was just splashing water on my face. It absorbed quickly, which was nice, but I didn’t really see any difference in my skin after a few weeks.
- Serum #2: Okay, this one was the opposite. It was THICK. Like, almost goopy. It felt heavy on my skin and I’m pretty sure it made me break out a little. Definitely not a winner.
- Serum #3: This one was…interesting. It had a weird smell, kind of like old oranges. I couldn’t get past the smell, even though it seemed to moisturize okay. Into the trash it went.
I was starting to get discouraged. I mean, how hard could it be to find a decent vitamin D serum? I almost gave up, but then I decided to try one more.
The (Potential) Winner!
Serum #4: This one is promising! It has a light, creamy texture – not too watery, not too thick. It absorbs pretty quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or oily. And the best part? It doesn’t smell weird!
I’ve been using it for about two weeks now, and I think I’m actually starting to see a difference. My skin looks a little brighter and feels more hydrated. I’m cautiously optimistic that this might actually be “the one.”
I’m going to keep using it for a few more weeks and see how it goes. I learned that finding the right product takes time and lots of trial and error. I’m still crossing my fingers, but this last serum seems like a big step in the right direction!
