So, I’ve been messing around with keyboards lately, and I just gotta share my experience with this Choice 65 thing. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you.
First off, I started hunting for this keyboard online. I saw some chatter about it being from Velocifire, or maybe it was velocifiretech, whatever. Found a few sites that had it listed, but most were out of stock. Prices were all over the place, from zero bucks to 150. What’s up with that, right?

I finally got my hands on one. Unboxing it felt pretty good. They say it’s designed by some Cyberbay Studio. The packaging had some stuff about it being all about “form and functionality”. Sounds fancy, but I just wanted a good keyboard, you know?
I started tinkering with it. They made a big deal about using a poron pad between the PCB and the plate. Supposedly, it replaces some gaskets and makes things better. I don’t know about all that technical stuff, but I tried swapping it out just to see what would happen.
They said this thing is meant to be used wired for the best connection. I guess that makes sense if you’re into super-fast response times. But they are also saying that they are gonna add some wireless features in it, which is cool.
Here are some little things that I took notes on this whole thing:
- First, I got the keyboard, it was not easy to find a seller.
- Then I opened the box and checked all the parts.
- I tried replacing the poron pad like they suggested.
- I plugged it in and started typing.
- After some use I changed the keycaps.
- Then I looked at some posts online for customization.
- I added some foam to change the sound.
- Finally, I cleaned everything and took some photos.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Choice 65 keyboard. It’s been a journey of hunting, unboxing, tinkering, and whatnot. I just wanted to share my experience, in case anyone else is thinking about getting one of these.
So, after messing around with it for a while, I’ve got mixed feelings. It’s pretty good, but it’s not perfect. I guess that’s how it goes with these things. Just wanted to share my experience with everyone. Hope someone finds it helpful!
