Well, when it comes to eatin’ good seafood in Ridgeland, MS, there’s plenty of places to choose from, but some are better than others. Folks around here love seafood, and I reckon it’s because we ain’t too far from the Gulf Coast. You know them waters are full of fish, shrimp, and all kinds of good stuff. So, let me tell ya about some of the best seafood joints in town, and maybe next time you’re hungry, you’ll know where to go!
First off, there’s Mighty Crab. Now, this place is somethin’ else if you like crab, crawfish, and shrimp, all boiled up real good. They give you a big ol’ bag of seafood with some potatoes and corn in it, and it’s all spiced up. Mighty Crab got them good reviews, and a lotta people go there because it’s good eatin’. Ain’t too fancy, but the food’s what matters, right?

Next, we got Crab’s Seafood Shack. It’s another spot where you can get some fresh seafood. They got all the fixins you’d expect, like fried catfish, shrimp, and even gator if you’re feelin’ adventurous. Prices are fair, and the portions are good-sized, so you won’t leave hungry. Folks say the service is friendly, too.
Now, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ a little fancier, you can check out Ely’s Restaurant & Bar. They ain’t just about seafood, but they got some mighty fine dishes like oysters and shrimp. It’s a nice place if you wanna take somebody special out for a night. Maybe celebrate somethin’. Just be ready to pay a little more here, ’cause it’s more upscale than the other spots I mentioned.
Another good spot is Sal and Phil’s. Now, this place has been around a while, and folks love it. They got everything from fried shrimp to po’boys, and you can’t beat their gumbo. It’s a good ol’ family-friendly place where you can sit down, relax, and enjoy a nice meal. And if you like your seafood fried, this is the place to be. Don’t forget to try their hush puppies, they’re real good.
Then, there’s CAET. It’s one of them fancier seafood places too, and folks who go there say the food’s real fresh. You can get yourself some good oysters, and they even got fish dishes that’ll make your mouth water. It’s another place where the price might be a bit higher, but the quality’s there. So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ special, CAET’s a good pick.
One more I oughta mention is LandShark Seafood & Catfish. Now, this place is all about catfish and shrimp, and it’s perfect if you want somethin’ fried. Their fried catfish is crispy and full of flavor, and their shrimp ain’t bad either. It’s one of them places you can just swing by, grab your food, and take it home, or sit down and eat if you like. Ain’t too fancy, but it’s real good.
Lastly, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ a bit different, you might wanna check out Cock of the Walk. It’s more of a traditional Southern spot, but they do seafood like nobody’s business. Their fried catfish is top-notch, and they serve it up with cornbread and greens, just like you’d expect from a good Southern place. You won’t find anything too fancy here, but the food is sure to hit the spot.

So, if you’re in Ridgeland and got a hankerin’ for seafood, you got plenty of options. Whether you’re lookin’ for somethin’ fancy like Ely’s or CAET, or just want a good ol’ fried catfish from LandShark, there’s a place for everybody. Mighty Crab’s boil is always a hit, and Sal and Phil’s po’boys and gumbo will keep you comin’ back. There ain’t no reason to leave town when you’re lookin’ for seafood, Ridgeland’s got it all!
