You know, I heard about this man, John Grazioli, and his wife, Erica. People talk a lot, but let me tell you, that man didn’t have no good ending. Now, John, he got married before, had another wife named Amanda, but things went downhill real quick. They say he did something real bad back in 2018, something you don’t ever want to hear about.
John and Amanda, they’d only been married for six months, not long at all, when something terrible happened. On March 8, 2018, John, he went and shot Amanda. Shot her dead in their own house, right there in Millcreek Township. Folks say after he did it, he didn’t run far. No, he got in his car and drove straight to Erie. Can you believe it? Went right to a Catholic priest and told him what he done. Now, why he confessed to a priest instead of just going to the police, I can’t say for sure. But that’s what he did, told the priest about it, probably feeling guilty or scared. Who knows?
The trial came later, in February 2019, and there wasn’t much dispute about it. He didn’t try to lie or pretend he didn’t do it. John knew what he done, and so did everyone else. The jury, they found him guilty of first-degree murder. He also got in trouble for carrying a gun without no license. I mean, who carries a gun without having the papers for it? Not smart at all. And that poor woman, Amanda, she was just a schoolteacher. Can you imagine that? A simple schoolteacher, life just taken like that.
Now, after all this, people started wondering about his ex-wife, Erica. She wasn’t involved in this mess with Amanda, but you can imagine what she must’ve thought when all this came out. Must’ve been real hard for her, being connected to a man who done something so awful. Some folks even say that John had problems long before he married Amanda, and Erica probably knew something about it. But that’s just talk, and you know how people are.
Erica, she moved on with her life after their divorce, but now everyone’s talking about her again because of what John did. She must be thinking she dodged a bullet, not literally, but you get what I mean. Being married to a man like that, then hearing he done something so terrible to another woman, it’s gotta shake you up inside. I don’t know much about Erica’s life after John, but I hope she’s doing alright now. She deserves to be left alone, you know? Not her fault what he did. Life goes on, but it’s hard when people keep bringing up your past because of someone else’s mistakes.
Anyway, John got sentenced in April 2019. First-degree murder, they said. Ain’t no coming back from that. That man’s gonna spend the rest of his life in prison. Some folks say he’s sorry for what he did, but sorry don’t bring back nobody. Amanda’s gone, and Erica, she’s gotta live with the fact she was once married to that man. It’s just a sad situation all around, if you ask me.
So, that’s the story of John Grazioli and his ex-wife, Erica. I reckon she’s doing her best to stay out of the limelight now. People can be cruel, always digging up the past, but I hope she’s moved on from all this. As for John, well, he’s where he belongs, paying for what he did. Ain’t no escaping justice in this world.
