Okay, so I’ve been totally obsessed with the fashion in “King the Land” lately. Seriously, Gu Won’s suits? Cheon Sa-rang’s dresses? I had to try and recreate some of those looks. Let’s dive into my little fashion experiment!
Getting Started: The Inspiration
First things first, I spent, like, hours just pausing episodes and taking screenshots. I focused on outfits that I felt I could actually pull off, you know? Not some super high-end designer stuff that would break the bank.

I mainly focused on Cheon Sa-rang’s style because it’s more relatable to my everyday life. Her work outfits are chic but also comfortable, which is a huge win for me.
The Hunt: Finding Similar Pieces
This was the tricky part. I didn’t want to buy exact replicas (again, budget!), so I hit up my favorite online stores and some local shops. My goal was to find pieces with similar vibes – the same color palettes, silhouettes, and overall aesthetic.
- I looked for a lot of tailored blazers, but in softer fabrics like linen blends.
- Flowy blouses with interesting details, like ruffles or pussy-bow ties, were a must.
- High-waisted skirts and trousers were key to getting that polished, put-together look.
- And for casual look, I searched a lot of T-shirt and jeans, dresses to get comfort wearing.
Putting It All Together: My Recreations
Okay, so I didn’t nail every outfit perfectly, but I had a lot of fun trying! I found a really cute blush-colored blazer that I paired with a cream-colored blouse and a navy pencil skirt. It felt very Cheon Sa-rang at work, you know?
I also experimented with some of her more casual looks. I found a similar striped shirt, and that was very awesome, I wore that with my favorite Jeans, It gave me that effortless chic vibe that she rocks so well.
The Verdict: Was It a Success?
I’d say it was a partial success! I definitely didn’t transform into a K-drama heroine overnight, but I did manage to incorporate some “King the Land” inspired elements into my wardrobe. It was a fun way to step outside of my usual style comfort zone and try something new.
And let me tell you, wearing those outfits gave me a little confidence boost. It’s amazing how clothes can change your mood, right? It’s not about becoming someone else, but more about channeling a bit of that K-drama flair into my everyday life.

It was so joyful that I will definitely keep experimenting!
