Korean Corn Dogs – Where to Find and Buy this Delicious Snack!

Posted on 13/01/202513/01/2025 by FeatureFinder

Man, you won’t believe the craving I had today. I was just itching for one of those Korean corn dogs, you know, the ones with the crispy outside and that gooey, cheesy pull when you bite into them? So, I decided, today’s the day I hunt one down.

First, I started hitting up Google, just typing in “where to buy Korean corn dogs” like a maniac. I scrolled through a bunch of stuff, some articles talking about how they’re the new big thing, some online stores, and a few mentions of food delivery apps.

Korean Corn Dogs - Where to Find and Buy this Delicious Snack!

Then, I remembered seeing something about frozen ones at the grocery store. Figured it was worth a shot, so I headed to the nearest Korean market. I wandered around the frozen food aisle, and bam! There they were, in all their frozen glory. Not exactly what I was craving, but hey, it’s something.

  • Checked out local food delivery apps:
    • Instacart – They said they could deliver in like, an hour, which was tempting.
    • Other apps – Found a couple of places that had them on the menu, but they were a bit too far for delivery.
  • Explored online options:
    • Came across some websites that sell them, but I wasn’t too sure about ordering food online.
  • Visited a Korean grocery store:
    • Found frozen Korean corn dogs! Not the fresh, street food experience, but at least it’s a start.
    • Also grabbed some other Korean snacks, because why not?

After that, I thought about those street food markets I’ve heard about. Did a bit more digging and found out that apparently, there’s a food truck in Gangnam, Seoul that sells these. It’s called “Grandfather Hot Dog” or something like that. I even found the address: 399, Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul. And they’re open from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, except Sundays and rainy days.

But since I’m not in Seoul, I decided to check out Costco next. I heard they have these crispy potato corn dogs, which are basically mozzarella cheese sticks covered in potato. Snagged a box for about $10.79 – not bad, not bad.

So, yeah, my quest for a Korean corn dog today was a bit of a rollercoaster. I didn’t exactly find a fresh one from a street vendor, but I ended up with a few options to satisfy my craving. And hey, I discovered that food truck in Seoul, so maybe that’s a future adventure!

Moral of the story

If you’re craving something, don’t give up! Even if you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for, you might discover something new and exciting along the way.
