Okay, so I’ve been eyeing the Nigo x Louis Vuitton collab for a while now. It’s like, a big deal, you know? Nigo, the streetwear legend, teaming up with LV, a classic luxury brand. I was really curious to see how this would play out. I heard that it’s the second drop so I gotta hurry up.
First thing I did was hit up the Louis Vuitton website. Browsing through their official site, trying to figure out what’s even in the collection, and more importantly, what I could afford, lol.

After that, I started checking out some resale sites. I won’t name them, but you know, the usual spots where you can find authentic designer stuff for a bit less. I typed in “Louis Vuitton x Nigo” in their search bars and scrolled through pages of listings. Saw some cool pieces, some were crazy expensive, but I was getting a better idea of the price range.
I also noticed that the app mentioned that it can check the product stock in each store, how convenient! And they even have a customer service department, I think maybe I should contact them to learn more about this collection.
Then, I went down a rabbit hole of articles and blog posts about the collab. Reading about how Virgil Abloh, rest in peace, invited Nigo to do this limited edition thing. And finding out that the whole collection is like, a mix of their styles – streetwear meets luxury, which is totally my vibe.
I spent hours, I’m not even kidding, just looking at pictures and reading descriptions. I found out that some of the bags in this collection go for around $2,000, while others are way more. It’s wild how much these things cost, but I guess that’s the price of exclusivity and high fashion.
My Action Plan
So, after all that research, here’s what I decided to do:
- Set a budget. This is important, ’cause it’s easy to get carried away. I figured out how much I’m willing to spend on a piece from this collection, and I’m sticking to it. I do not want to spend over my budget.
- Focus on one item. Instead of trying to get multiple things, I picked one piece that I really love – the Keepall Bandoulire 50. It’s a classic LV bag with Nigo’s design on it, and I think it’s dope.
- Keep checking the resale sites. I’m gonna set up some alerts on those sites so I get notified if a Keepall comes up in my price range. Hopefully, I can snag one for a decent price.
- Maybe visit a store. I might actually go to a Louis Vuitton store in person, just to see the collection up close. Even if I don’t buy anything there, it’ll be a cool experience. I mean, I can also try it on to see if it really fits me.
That’s basically my journey into the world of Nigo x Louis Vuitton. It’s been a lot of looking around, comparing prices, and trying not to get too hyped up. But hey, I’m excited about it, and hopefully, I’ll be able to add a piece from this collection to my wardrobe soon. Wish me luck!
