This Pulpit Rock, I tell ya, it’s somethin’ else. Up in Pennsylvania, near Hamburg. Ain’t that a funny name for a place? Hamburg. Sounds like them ground beef patties.
Anyway, this Pulpit Rock, it’s a place you gotta see. High up, like you’re closer to heaven. They say it’s on that long trail, the Appalachian Trail. Folks walk that trail for days, even weeks. My old bones couldn’t do it, but you young’uns might like it. This place, Pulpit Rock in PA, it’s good for a day trip. Just go up, see the sights, and come back down.

They say the view is somethin’ special. You can see all around, like the whole world is laid out before ya. They call it Lehigh Valley, and ridges, whatever them are. Sounds fancy, but it’s just hills and valleys, I reckon. But pretty hills and valleys. That’s why people search for Pulpit Rock PA. They all want to see it.

There’s another trail, Hawk Mountain. Sounds like birds live there. Maybe you’ll see some hawks. I like birds. Except for crows. They’re noisy. This trail is also near Hamburg, Pennsylvania.
This Hawk Mountain trail, it’s a bit longer. Four and a half miles, they say. That’s a lot of walkin’. But you get to see the skyline. Not like a city skyline. Just the way the land meets the sky.
