Okay, so I’ve been wanting to set up a little drink station in my kitchen for ages. It just seemed like a fun, convenient thing to have, especially when people come over. I finally got around to doing it, and it was way easier than I thought!
First, I cleared off a section of my counter. It wasn’t a huge space, but big enough for a few essentials. I had a bunch of random stuff there before – you know, mail, keys, the occasional rogue banana. So, I spent a good hour just getting rid of the clutter and wiping everything down.

Then, I gathered all my drink-related stuff. I grabbed my coffee maker, my electric kettle (because I’m a big tea drinker too), and a cute little tray I had lying around. I also dug out my favorite mugs and some tea bags.
I placed the coffee maker and kettle on the counter, making sure they were near an outlet. Then, I used the tray to organize everything else. I put the mugs on the tray, along with a small container for sugar and another one for spoons.
- Coffee maker – check!
- Electric kettle – check!
- Mugs – check!
- Sugar and spoons – double check!
I also added a little basket for my tea bags. I’ve got all sorts – black tea, green tea, herbal tea… you name it. I wanted it to be easy for guests (and me!) to find what they wanted.
Finally, I added a small pitcher of water and a few glasses. I figured it would be nice to have some cold water readily available, especially during the warmer months.
I tossed a lemon that’s about to go bad, just sliced them up and tossed it in the water.

The Finished Product!
And that’s it! It’s nothing fancy, but it’s functional and it looks pretty cute. It’s already made my mornings easier, and I think it’ll be a hit when I have friends over. Seriously, if you’ve been thinking about doing something similar, just go for it! It’s a small change that makes a surprisingly big difference.
