Rolls Royce 0-60 Time: How Fast Can It Really Go?

Posted on 03/01/202503/01/2025 by NewsNotifier

Okay, so, let me tell you about this little experiment I did with my Rolls-Royce. I’ve always been curious about that whole 0-60 thing, you know? How fast can this luxurious beast really go from a standstill? So, I decided to put it to the test.

First things first, I got my hands on a few different Rolls-Royce models. I mean, why not go all out, right? I managed to get a hold of a Ghost, a Phantom, and even a Cullinan. Yeah, I know, pretty awesome.

Next, I found a nice, long, deserted stretch of road. Safety first, folks! I didn’t want to be “that guy” causing a ruckus on the public roads. I made sure it was a smooth, flat surface too, to keep things fair and consistent. I had my stopwatch, a notebook, and a pen with me. I wanted to record all the times, old-school style. No fancy gadgets here, just good old-fashioned observation and recording.

Now, for the fun part. I started with the Ghost. I took a deep breath, gripped the steering wheel, and floored it. I watched that speedometer climb and clicked my stopwatch the second I hit 60 mph. I jotted down the time in my notebook and repeated the process a few more times, just to be sure. Then, I moved on to the Phantom, and lastly, the Cullinan. The process was the same each time.

Here’s what I found:

  • The Ghost? That thing can move! I clocked it at around 4.6 seconds on average.
  • The Phantom was a tad slower, as expected, coming in at around 5.1 seconds.
  • The Cullinan, being the big SUV that it is, took about 5.0 seconds on average.

I also tried messing around with the wheel sizes. Like, I swapped out the stock wheels for some smaller, lighter ones. You know what? It actually made a bit of a difference! The cars felt a little more nimble, and the 0-60 times improved by a hair. Nothing drastic, but noticeable. This is interesting, I should record more about it next time.

So, there you have it. My little Rolls-Royce 0-60 experiment. It was a blast, and I learned a thing or two about these magnificent machines. They’re not just about luxury and comfort; they’ve got some serious power under the hood, too. I hope you found my little adventure interesting. I just wanted to share my experience with you all.

Remember, this was just a casual test, and I didn’t have fancy equipment or anything, so take these results with a grain of salt. I just wanted to see what my Rolls could do. It was fun, I enjoyed it, and that’s what matters. I think I’ll do more of these casual tests in the future.

Stay tuned for more of my random automotive adventures!
