So, I saw this “15 of 12.99” thing floating around, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” I figured I’d give it a shot and see what it was all about. I’m always up for trying new things, especially if it seems like a quick win. Here is what I did!
My Experiment
I started by, well, just looking at the numbers. 15 of 12.99. Okay, so it sounds like we’re dealing with some kind of set, or maybe a discount? My first thought was that it was a pricing thing – like, you get 15 items for $12.99. It might be a bug or glich, I do not konw before I try it.

I decided that I needed to get 15 of something into a physical cart. That was my first mission. My wife told me that there was some glitch with candles, so I got my phone.

First, I went to a retail website. Let’s call it “The Shop”. It had some good deals sometimes. I would try the glitch here.
-
Next, I found candles on the website. I made sure they were the right price.
-
Then I added 15 of them to my cart. I double-checked, triple-checked… yep, 15 candles. Just sitting there in my virtual shopping cart.
I slowly clicked the checkout button. Then I took a deep breath. The total came up…I looked at the price. It was not 12.99.
The Result
Well, it didn’t work. The price was way higher than $12.99. No big surprise there, really. It seems like 15 of 12.99 does not really mean anything.

It was a fun little experiment, though! I like trying out these random things. Sometimes it’s a total bust, but sometimes you discover something cool. This time? Not so much. But hey, at least I have 15 candles and a story to tell, right?
