Eh, lemme tell ya somethin’ ’bout Wally’s over in Charleston. Now, ya walk in, an’ first thing ya gonna see is them tables all laid out nice, like they’re waitin’ for ya. Folks say it’s been there fer years, and it ain’t fancy or nothin’, but folks still go. Why? Well, I’ll tell ya, it’s ’cause of them meals they serve. Simple food, nothin’ too tricky. They got breakfast, brunch, and them chicken wings, too. Prices? Well, not too bad, they say. Ya ain’t gonna spend too much there, that’s fer sure.
Now, if ya want a real hearty start to yer day, the breakfast’s where it’s at. They got eggs, bacon, and pancakes, just like them old days when we used to cook fer everyone in the mornin’. But at Wally’s, ya ain’t gotta worry ’bout cookin’ yerself. Folks round here say the pancakes, fluffy as the clouds, big ol’ plates full. Eggs cooked just the way ya like, whether that’s sunny side up or scrambled all over the plate, like how my niece likes ’em. Bacon crispy, jus’ like it should be. Can’t mess up bacon, no ma’am.

Mid-day eats? Well, that’s where the brunch comes in.
Ya ever tried their brunch? Now, some say it’s hit or miss, but they got some good stuff if ya know what ta pick. The chicken wings is somethin’ folks talk ’bout. Fried up nice and crispy, served with some sauces on the side. One fella said the wings were the best he’d had in a long time, crispy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. Said he’d come back just for them wings. Can’t argue with that.
- Wally’s ain’t one of them fancy places, but it’s got character.
- Prices are fair, ya ain’t gotta worry ’bout breakin’ the bank.
- Food’s simple, but it hits the spot, that’s fer sure.
Now, folks talkin’ ’bout this place, I reckon, they ain’t doin’ it justice if they don’t mention them other dishes. Like, some people order them burgers. Big ol’ patties, grilled up real nice, served on them buns that ain’t too soft, ain’t too hard, jus’ right. Fries? Well, they ain’t bad, crispy enough. But lemme tell ya, some folks say ya get more fries than ya need, so don’t go thinkin’ ya gotta order a whole lotta sides. Them burgers fill ya right up.
Some reviews say,
it ain’t always the best service, but when it comes to Wally’s, I tell ya, it’s all ’bout expectations. Ya walk in, an’ ya know yer gonna get food that’s cooked like back home, not all them fancy fixins or decorations. So, if ya headin’ to Charleston and lookin’ fer a place to eat, Wally’s might just be what yer after.
Open from 9 in the mornin’ to 8 at night, plenty of time to swing by fer a bite. Just know, it ain’t gonna be fancy, but it’ll fill ya up, and that’s what matters, right?
