That might sound like a lot, but in truth, it don’t seem like enough when you think about what them kids went through. They were just babies, after all, and these people were supposed to take care of ’em, not treat ’em like that.
But, folks, this ain’t the end of the story. As of now, Michael and Sharen ain’t really back in the spotlight, but you can bet that folks still talk about ’em, especially in places like Norwalk, where the case was all over the news. Last I heard, they’re livin’ their lives, though I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes. After all the harm they caused, they ain’t exactly got many folks on their side anymore.
As for those poor kids, well, some of ’em ended up gettin’ help after they were taken out of that awful situation. It took a long time for ’em to recover, and some might never be the same after what happened to ’em. The law may have caught up with Michael and Sharen, but the damage they caused, well, that’s something those kids will carry with ’em for the rest of their lives.
