Okay, so, I’ve been seeing this thing called “Banpresto face bank” all over the internet lately, and let me tell you, it’s wild. It’s basically a piggy bank, but it looks like it has a face, and it, like, “eats” your coins. It looks funny! I just had to try and get one.
First, I went online to see where I could buy one. I looked around, and it seems like these things are sold in a bunch of different places. There are a lot of shops in Singapore, it says. I just picked a shop that seemed pretty good and ordered one.

It took a while to get here, but the delivery guy finally showed up with a box. I opened it up, and there it was, in all its weird glory. This face bank was even goofier-looking in person. So basically you just put a coin in its “mouth,” and it starts moving its face like it’s chewing, and then the coin drops into the bank. It’s hilarious, and also a little creepy, to be honest.

I grabbed a handful of coins and started feeding this thing. It was mesmerizing watching it gobble up my money. It was so much fun that I even started digging around for more change just to keep feeding it. I think I spent a good hour just playing with this thing. Yeah, I know, I’m a grown man playing with a piggy bank, but I don’t even care, it was totally worth it.
